Delete Your Account
This page explains how to permanently delete your Jesus Camp Resort account and the personal information associated with it. You can delete your account directly from within the Jesus Camp Resort app, or by emailing our team if you no longer have the app installed.
Option 1 — Delete from within the app (fastest)
- Open the Jesus Camp Resort app on your phone.
- Tap the More tab in the bottom navigation.
- Make sure you are signed in (if not, tap Sign In or Create Account).
- Scroll to the My Account section.
- Tap Delete My Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Your account is removed immediately. You will be signed out of the app.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or simply prefer to request deletion in writing, email our team. We will verify your identity using the email address on file and complete the deletion within 30 days (typically within a few business days).
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following information is permanently removed:
- Your profile (name, email address, username, phone number, profile photo URL)
- Your hashed password and all login sessions
- Your in-app notification preferences
What may be retained
For accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal-compliance reasons, the following records may be retained in an anonymized form (no longer linked to you personally):
- Past bookings — accommodation, dates, and amount, with your personal identifiers removed.
- Past donations — amount, campaign, and date, with your personal identifiers removed. This is required to issue accurate tax records and comply with financial regulations.
Requesting deletion of specific data only
If you would like only part of your data removed without deleting your account (for example, updating your phone number, removing a profile photo, or unsubscribing from optional notifications), you can do that directly in the app at More → Notifications, or by emailing us at jesuscampresort1@gmail.com.
